Capabilities & Authority

The control you engage — and the authority that stands behind it.

One accountable principal. Five control domains — baseline, planning & readiness, execution supervision, systems assurance, evidence & closeout. What is ready now, and what is routed to a certified specialist on your behalf.

What we control

Capability is how we keep the work controlled — not a list of services

One named owner-side principal holds your scope, schedule, budget and evidence to a single baseline, first review to signed closeout. The yard’s project office reports to the yard; your baseline needs someone who reports only to you.

Baseline control

Controlled scope, schedule, budget and acceptance — auditable at any point.

Planning & readiness

Doability and scope review, workpack and interface control, dry-dock and mobilisation readiness.

Execution supervision

Owner-side oversight of yard, OEM and specialist works against your baseline — progress, change and quality held to what was agreed.

Systems assurance

DP, automation, power and propulsion condition and fault-diagnosis — commissioning witnessed on your behalf.

Evidence & closeout

Dated, auditable records, change history and a sealed project dossier. Evidence pack available under NDA.

How we run it for you

One baseline, survey to closeout — managed on your behalf

You don’t coordinate the yard, the OEMs and Class separately — we do that for you, and keep the whole job on a single controlled baseline. Each stage is checked and released in order, so work moves forward with confidence, not surprises.

Project-control map: MVS manages the owner's side across survey, workpacks, execution, trials and closeout on one baseline, coordinating yard, OEM and specialist work with Class witness points aligned.

Readiness

What is ready now — in plain terms

Ready now

Owner-side project control, doability and scope review, workpack and interface control, cost / schedule / change control, dry-dock readiness and evidence-based closeout.

After a short scoping review

On-site owner’s representation, DP / automation and power / propulsion fault-diagnosis, hull and steel-renewal coordination, legacy-equipment upkeep, upgrade and lifecycle definition — confirmed against the vessel.

Via a named specialist or certified body

Class approval, independent DP / FMEA assurance, NDT and certification — prepared and witnessed by us, performed by the accredited party.

Authority boundary

Readiness describes when an activity can start, not how capable the team is.

On your side, all the way through

We take the project on — and stay independent where it counts

We coordinate and drive the whole scope for you. Yard works, EPC and OEM service are carried by the specialists — held to your baseline by us at every step. Class approval and certification stay with the accredited bodies, prepared, coordinated and witnessed by us so your evidence is independent and nothing stalls. When we verify, no interest of ours rides on the answer — only yours.
